In 2007 we opened our new facility on the apron of
Amsterdam airport Schiphol

A major step in the improvement of the quality of handling
perishable cargo at Amsterdam airport!
All cargo will be delivered from the aircraft directly into our
temperature controlled facility on the apron.

This will reduce waiting time at the airport and the product is
temperature controlled shortly after arrival.

We will receive the cargo much faster from the airlines which
enables us to deliver it quicker to the customers as well!
The facility of this perishable center is open

24 hours a day,
7 days a week,
365 days a year!!!
Our 5000 m2 temperature controlled warehouse has
the facilities and equipment required to handle
perishable cargo, large and small shipments
- 2 (120m long) race tracks ensuring quick transfer
  from airside to landsite
- Total storage capacity rollerbed system 75 uld's
- 4 break-bulk area's to build or breakdown uld's
- Custom warehouse
- Coldstores with different temperature ranges
  (+2 +6 +18 degr. C.)for uld's and loose cargo
- Vacuum cooler
For pharmaceutical shipments:
- Freeze storage available on request
- Dry ice refilling optional
- Mature warehouse management system in place,
  providing tracking and tracing capability
- Secure storage for high-value cargo available
  (at 12 degrees Celsius only)
- Recall and quarantaine procedures in place
- HACCP compliant

HPC is an approved phyto inspection
location for EU border inspections

Shipments are stored in a temperature controlled
environment, waiting for phytosanitary inspection

Dutch phytosanitary services have
in-house office at HPC
Procedure upon arrival
- Temperature check
- Skids from the uld's within 30 minutes after arrival
- Skids placed in the coolers within 45 min after arrival
- Loading direct from the coolers into the truck
